Alex and Link played hide and seek Sunday.
Alex was “it” first. He counted to 10 and Link went to hide. His first hiding spot was lying on the floor by the train table with his hands over his face. I went and helped him hide in the corner behind where the two couches meet, and covered him with pillows. I had high hopes for this place.
Alex got to 10 and asked me if I’d seen Link. I said no. Then Link popped up and yelled, “Here I am!”
Then it was Link’s turn. He counted to 10. Alex hid under the dining room table. Link asked me if I’d seen him. I said no. He walked around and around and couldn’t find Alex.
I tried to pantomime that Alex was hiding under the table, but Link didn’t get it and started to play with his trains.
I figured Alex’s back had to be killing him by this time so I pointed him out to Link, who “found him” and ended the game.

Pop Pop likes to hide too, But Granny always catches him. Maybe Link and Pop Pop can play the next time we come to Atlanta. G

We played a version of hide and seek when we were little. We called in “Lion”. Uncle Steve was the Lion, and we were the poor little souls with thumping hearts when he found us and was ready to pounce
