Today we had the second inspection. You can see that they have put up the columns. Also, the new shingles are on the top gable.
A little less blurry photo of the kitchen. Notice that the tile still has the wrong grout color. They are coming on Tuesday to remove the old grout and add the correct color.
The carpet in the den. It's a little hard to see the color in the picture, but it's a very light sage green.
This is the carpet in the master bedroom. All of the upstairs bedrooms have the same carpet.
They added insulation under the floor in the basement.
Here is the source of that pesky puddle in the basement. Luckily that's easily fixed, while a problem with the foundation would not have been.
The inspector pointed out that when they replaced the shingles, they did some damage to the roof. That will need to be repaired.
Here is the inspector pointing out an issue with the shingles. They are supposed to overlap so that none of the seams line up. It looks like an issue with a few of the smaller shingles.
This is where the dirt is settling under the driveway. We will probably need to have that re-poured at some point.
After the inspection, we went shopping. This is the refridgerator we bought.
While at Home Depot, we looked at some paint, and I decided on this color paint for the family room. It's a suede texture, should be really cool.
