They added some landscaping to the common area between where the houses start and McLendon.

More pictures of the hole. They moved some more earth around, likely with that equipment. Maybe we'll see some concrete in the next pictures!

This is a kitchen in a house with our floorplan. You can see the spot for the double oven. The refridgerator will go in an alcove to the left. The sink will go on the right, below the window. I will be adding an island in the kitchen, as per the floorplan. The doorway to the left leads to the laundry room.

This is the kitchen in another home. You can see the standard granite tile counters and the faucet with the combo sprayer thingy. We're planning on getting solid granite counters, I have issues with seams on my counters.

This is the view from the dining room into the kitchen.

This is the view from the dining room/sitting room into the front foyer. Notice the detailing on the wall. I imagine we'll get some options as to what kinds of detailing we'll get in these rooms.

This is the view into the two story foyer from the front door. Alex likes the grandeur of the stairs. Downstairs, the door to the left leads to the basement. The one on the right, to the garage. You can see a bit of the family room and the fireplace beyond the doors. Upstairs, you can see the opening to the media room, and the linen closet to the left.

This is the view of the foyer from the top of the stairs.

This is the modified master bedroom from the house next door. Ours will be similarly large, but with a vaulted ceiling in the alcove and without the closets on either side. I believe the alcove will be a bit wider because of it. The second picture is just to show the tray ceiling details.

This is the standard master bedoom from the house across the street. I like ours better.

Here are a bunch of pictures of the basement. Alex was adamant about getting a house with a basement. He's very happy about this one. I like that it's a daylight basement, and not some dark dungeon-like place. Those windows look out on the back yard, and there's a door there as well (not pictured). The door is directly under the deck, which is off the breakfast nook in the kitchen.

This is the master bathroom from the house across the street. I expect ours to look similarly. The first picture is the leaded glass window over the garden tub. It has whirlpool jets. The second picture is the showerstall. There's a seat in there, and it's pretty good size. You can also see the closet to the left. The next two pictures are of the two sink/vanities. Both are in the master bath.
